A Palestinian Activist holds a Palestinian Flag on a rooftop. An image of strength and hope that the Ummah should strive towards. Muslims should proudly proclaim their support for Palestine and unapologetically refuse the legitimacy of the terrorist state of Israel.

Zionism Vs Judaism

Zionism is not Judaism and Jews are not all Zionists. There are Jews who can be allies of Islam, who reject injustice and colonialism, but Israeli citizens are not allies of Muslims. They are the occupiers who abuse and kill innocents.

“While it had many strains historically, the Zionism that took hold and stands today is a settler-colonial movement, establishing an apartheid state where Jews have more rights than others. Our own history teaches us how dangerous this can be.

Palestinian dispossession and occupation are by design. Zionism has meant profound trauma for generations, systematically separating Palestinians from their homes, land, and each other. Zionism, in practice, has resulted in massacres of Palestinian people, ancient villages and olive groves destroyed, families who live just a mile away from each other separated by checkpoints and walls, and children holding onto the keys of the homes from which their grandparents were forcibly exiled.

Because the founding of the state of Israel was based on the idea of a “land without people,” Palestinian existence itself is resistance. We are all the more humbled by the vibrance, resilience, and steadfastness of Palestinian life, culture, and organizing, as it is a deep refusal of a political ideology founded on erasure.”

The above is an example of Jewish people denouncing the Israeli occupation and oppression of the people of Palestine.

The Holy Land of the People of the Book

All three Abrahamic religions claim Jerusalem is a sacred place. The Muslims, historically, have been in favor of allowing the other Abrahamic religions to worship God in their own way within Jerusalem. This is still true today but not while the Israeli people continue to steal from and kill the Palestinians. The truth is Americans are complacent in every crime Israel commits because their taxpayers help fund the Israeli state and the American military protects Israeli interest.

Pictured is the Statue of Liberty spliced with the contradiction of America’s claim to represent freedom: the torture of people who the Americans invaded.

The Israeli state and the American government, in conjunction with other Western powers, destabilized and economically ruined the Muslim world.

Islamophobia and Western Hypocrisy

The US has been dumping billions of dollars into the Ukraine/Russia conflict due to claims of Russian imperialism and aggressive war. This same standard is revered as America funds the oppressor of the Israeli/Palestine conflict and unconditionally supports Israel’s right to exist and “defend” itself with violent attacks on areas populated by noncombatants.

A religious conflict?

Many disagree with the characterization of the situation as a religious conflict. The occupying Israelis are not acting on religion but greed, and the Palestinians right to the land is not because they are Muslim but instead because they have lived on it and worked it for generations. Here a Christian woman explains her Christian family was expelled from Palestine before the Israelis had even begun targeting the Muslims there:

The US interference with Palestinian Statehood

As you can see the US uses the vast majority of it’s veto power to fight Palestinian statehood and the acknowledgment of the illegality of Zionist occupation. This is also detailed in the maps from the above photo gallery. Without Americans the Israeli occupation state would not exist and the Palestinians including Palestinian Jews would still live in relative peace in the region where Israel’s borders exist today. This is why I refuse to support the US military and fully condemn their invasion, occupation, and abuse of the Muslim world.
