I thank God not only for the blessings of Dunya but also for the trials. This is because as a Muslim I believe God only gives us hardship to bring us closer to him or serve some other greater purpose that we can’t comprehend. Even when we lose everything like I did in Hurricane Ida, we still thank God for the events of our life because we are still blessed with Islam.
